CCTV Team Leader - Parking and Traffic Enforcement
Hours: 36 hours per week (Core hours: 10am-4pm)
Contract: Temporary, Full-time, with flexible and hybrid working options available
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated CCTV Team Leader to manage the day-to-day operations of the CCTV enforcement team responsible for parking and traffic contraventions.
This role involves leading a small team, ensuring legal compliance, maintaining high service standards, and contributing to ongoing service improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise a team of CCTV Review Officers
- Oversee daily operations of CCTV enforcement including deployment and monitoring
- Ensure all enforcement activity complies with relevant legislation and policies
- Plan and manage shift coverage and staff deployment
- Provide regular performance reports and analysis
- Identify opportunities for service improvement and implement changes
- Maintain and monitor the functionality of CCTV systems
- Ensure data management and compliance with GDPR and Data Protection legislation
- Liaise with external partners, contractors, and internal departments
- Support major project delivery in partnership with the Operations Manager
What We're Looking For
- Strong knowledge of CCTV enforcement and related legislation (e.g. Traffic Management Act 2004, RIPA)
- Proven experience in a similar CCTV control room or enforcement environment
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
- Skilled in planning, organising, and delivering results under pressure
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new IT systems
- Experience with data analysis and using statistics to inform service delivery
- Understanding of customer service principles in a public-facing role
