CCTV Team Leader - Parking and Traffic Enforcement

Hours: 36 hours per week (Core hours: 10am-4pm)

Contract: Temporary, Full-time, with flexible and hybrid working options available

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated CCTV Team Leader to manage the day-to-day operations of the CCTV enforcement team responsible for parking and traffic contraventions.

This role involves leading a small team, ensuring legal compliance, maintaining high service standards, and contributing to ongoing service improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise a team of CCTV Review Officers
  • Oversee daily operations of CCTV enforcement including deployment and monitoring
  • Ensure all enforcement activity complies with relevant legislation and policies
  • Plan and manage shift coverage and staff deployment
  • Provide regular performance reports and analysis
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement and implement changes
  • Maintain and monitor the functionality of CCTV systems
  • Ensure data management and compliance with GDPR and Data Protection legislation
  • Liaise with external partners, contractors, and internal departments
  • Support major project delivery in partnership with the Operations Manager

What We're Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of CCTV enforcement and related legislation (e.g. Traffic Management Act 2004, RIPA)
  • Proven experience in a similar CCTV control room or enforcement environment
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
  • Skilled in planning, organising, and delivering results under pressure
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new IT systems
  • Experience with data analysis and using statistics to inform service delivery
  • Understanding of customer service principles in a public-facing role
