Semi-Skilled Sheet Metal Worker

Due to high workloads this long-established metal fabrication company are looking an additional Semiskilled or possibly Fully Skilled Sheet Metal Worker.

Working from drawings and verbal instructions you will be producing a wide range of sheet metal products ranging from one off specials to medium volume products. �The machines you would use includes:

• Guillotine
• Fly Press
• Hydraulic Press
• Press Brake
• Spot Welder
• Bench Drill
• Cut Off Saw

Ideally you would need to be able to operate CNC Press Brake and CNC Turret Press.� Fully skilled candidate should also be able to set and programme the machines.� You will also need to be able to check and inspect your own work to ISO 9001 standards.� As the work can be very physical in nature you will need to be physically fit and able to move reasonable weights and be able to climb stairs to the mezzanine flooring.� You will be working as part of a small friendly team so you will need to be a good team player. ��

Your previous job titles may have included:

Sheet Metal Worker, Semi-Skilled Metal Worker, Fabricator, Press Operator, CNC Sheet Metal Worker.

As this may suit either a Semi Skilled or Fully Skilled person the salary will be negotiable depending on experience.
