Job Title: Category Manager
Location: Greater London
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Category Manager to work for a business that offers an extensive portfolio, including one of the largest legacy brands in the UK!
This position is specifically for those from the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Sector, specifically from Food and Drink, and those with experience with the major multiples, wholesalers & foodservice channels. If this is you, this is your chance to unlock your career!
This role will be supporting the expansion of this market leading operation as they push into new categories beyond their legacy offerings and explore new channels to help take the business to further heights on a very strong platform.
The successful applicant will need to forge new relationships with key contacts and work closely alongside the commercial and marketing team to achieve targeted distribution, commercial and trading objectives.
Key Candidate Criteria:
- 3+ years proven track record of success in a Category position within the FMCG food & drink industry.
- Experience with UK Grocery Retail is highly desirable.
- High energy and dynamic. Able to challenge upwards and handle being challenged.
- An effective team player who can also act with autonomy.
- Comfortable and confident in engaging with customers face to face.
- Someone with entrepreneurial instincts who is happy to work independently to a high standard.
Salary and Package:
This role offers a competitive package, including a strong bonus that has been paid over consecutive years and a wfh contract with expected travel throughout the week.
