The Role

As Store Manager, you will be the face and force behind our boutique running daily operations flawlessly, energising your team, and delivering the exceptional, detail-obsessed service that defines Makers. You will report directly to our Executive Chef, who oversees shop operations, and work closely with him to ensure every aspect of the in-store experience reflects the brands vision. This is a leadership role for someone who is naturally charismatic, obsessively organised, relentlessly positive, and fully committed to excellence.

What Youll Do

Customer Experience & Sales

  • Deliver genuine, bubbly, fun and luxury hospitality that reflects the warmth and elegance of the Makers brand.
  • Capture sales with infectious energy and authentic connection building loyalty and excitement around our products.
  • Maintain deep product knowledge and storytelling ability to elevate the customer journey and capture sales.

Team Leadership & Culture

  • Lead, train, and inspire a high-performing front-of-house team to consistently embody Makers ethos.
  • Recruit with intention and build strong onboarding and training frameworks from day one.
  • Create a culture of accountability, kindness, and excellence always leading by example.
  • Manage team rotas and scheduling.

Operations & Standards

  • Lead the implementation of operational systems, including EPOS, inventory management, and rota/scheduling, while establishing workflows, SOPs, O&M manuals tailored to MAKERS luxury standards.
  • Run the store with military precision from daily checklists to visual merchandising.
  • Uphold impeccable cleanliness and presentation across every corner of the store, including all back of house areas.
  • Oversee inventory and supply chain management you are responsible for ordering with the kitchen and ensuring restocks are timely and waste is minimal.
  • Ensure all food safety, health, and hygiene protocols are rigorously followed working with our Food Alert system for checklists, records, incident reporting and improvement etc.

Business & Strategy

  • Closely work with Exec Chef and Founder to track budgets, monitor KPIs, and implement smart strategies to grow profitability.
  • Continuously assess sales performance, gather customer feedback, and identify areas for innovation and refinement.

Community & Brand Presence

  • Act as a local brand ambassador building relationships with neighbouring businesses, regulars, and influencers.
  • Plan and execute local outreach to strengthen Makers role in the community and build meaningful connections.

Experience Required

  • 2+ years in luxury retail or hospitality management.
