We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated part-time Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) teacher to join our team at an independent SEMH school in Totteridge and Whetstone. The Role:

We are looking for an MFL teacher to deliver engaging lessons in MFL to our students. You will play a key role in providing a creative and supportive learning experience, tailoring lessons to meet the diverse needs of our students. As a part-time teacher, you will work closely with our dedicated staff team to ensure the success and well-being of each pupil.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality MFL lessons to a small group of students.
Differentiate learning to meet the individual needs of students, including those with SEMH and additional learning challenges.
Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources and support the wider school community.
Promote students' personal and social development, encouraging engagement in their learning and building confidence.

Essential Criteria:

Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching MFL at Key Stage 3 and 4.
Understanding of SEMH needs and how to tailor learning experiences for students with emotional and behavioral challenges.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to teaching.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
