Location: Lewisham, South East London
Schedule: Monday to Friday | Full-time | Temp to Perm

About the Role:

A welcoming and well-resourced SEN school in Lewisham is looking for a dedicated and proactive ADHD Support Assistant to join their team. The school caters to students with a range of additional needs, and this role focuses on supporting learners with ADHD and associated behavioural or emotional challenges, particularly across Key Stages 3 and 4.

This is a full-time, temp-to-perm position for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and keen to make a lasting impact.



Responsibilities:

  • Providing individual and group support to students with ADHD

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils stay engaged in learning

  • Supporting emotional regulation and classroom routines

  • Collaborating with teachers and SEN staff to deliver tailored interventions

  • Helping to create a stable and structured learning environment



Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people with ADHD, SEMH needs, or behavioural challenges

  • Strong communication, resilience, and behaviour management skills

  • Ability to build rapport with students who may have complex needs

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
