Job Title: Autism Support Worker - SEN School (Lewisham)

Salary: 100 - 120 per day (depending on experience)

Remedy Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated Autism Support Worker to join a vibrant and well-resourced SEN school in Lewisham. This is a full-time position supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), including non-verbal pupils and those with additional complex needs.
About the Role:
You will work closely with students on the autism spectrum, helping them to engage in learning, build independence, and develop key communication and life skills in a structured, nurturing environment.
Responsibilities Include:
Supporting students with ASD on a 1:1 or small group basis
Assisting with the development and delivery of personalised learning plans
Using communication tools such as PECS, Makaton, or visual timetables
Managing sensory needs and emotional regulation
Providing personal care for students where required
Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to meet each child's needs
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people with Autism (essential)
Previous school-based or SEN experience highly desirable
Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic attitude
Comfortable providing personal care support
Team player with strong communication skills
