A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Haringey is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work closely with a hearing-impaired pupil. This role requires a good understanding of British Sign Language (BSL) to support the child’s communication and learning within the classroom environment.

The Role
You will provide one-to-one support to a primary-aged pupil with hearing impairment, helping them access the curriculum and engage fully with school life. The ideal candidate will have a BSL qualification (Level 3 desirable) and experience working with children with SEN and hearing needs. You will support communication by translating spoken language into BSL and adapting learning materials to meet the child’s needs.

Key responsibilities include:
