They are looking for an LSA to work closely with students who require additional support to reach their full potential. Your primary responsibility will be to create a positive and inclusive learning environment while providing in class, one-on-one or small group support to students with SEND.
Â
You will assist with classroom activities, monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with other professionals such as the SENCO, teachers and the SEND team.
Â
This role would suit either those thinking of a career in teaching or someone who just enjoys working with young people.
Â
Qualifications & Experience required include:
- GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above (or equivalent)
- Degree 2:2 or above
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with children or young people with special needs (SEN)
