Supported Housing Officer

Salary: £29,235.65 per annum
Hours: 35–40 hours per week (shift rota including evenings & weekends)
Location: Supported Housing Scheme (flexibility to work across sites required)

The Role

We are looking for a compassionate and proactive Supported Housing Officer to join our housing team. You’ll provide housing management and tailored support to residents, helping them maintain their tenancies, improve their wellbeing, and progress towards independent living.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage a caseload of residents, providing housing-related support.

  • Monitor rent accounts, prevent arrears, and maximise occupancy.

  • Carry out assessments and create person-centred support plans.

  • Address tenancy issues, including anti-social behaviour.

  • Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to deliver the best outcomes.

  • Support residents to engage in education, training, employment, and community activities.

About You

  • Experience supporting vulnerable people (e.g. housing, advice, social care).

  • Strong communication, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Flexible to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.

  • (Desirable) Housing qualification or related experience.
