Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Camberwell, Southwark
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: 1 Year Fixed Term - Full-time (Term-Time Only)
Salary: 110-120 per day, based on experience

A welcoming and outstanding Ofsted rated primary school in Camberwell, South London are now looking for an experienced and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join an outstanding and welcoming school as soon as possible this September. You'll be working alongside staff members and the SENCo across the school to ensure all students feel supported, understood and cared for.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you'll support and assist children with a range of needs - including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties. Whether it's giving 1:1 support, running small group sessions, or helping create a calm and welcoming classroom.
You'll be working directly with a supportive team of teachers, SENCOs, and other assistants who are enthusiastic about inclusive education and making school a safe and welcoming place for every child.
Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience working with children with SEN (in a mainstream or SEN setting)
- Someone who is proactive, passionate and caring.
- A team player who's happy to get involved and support wherever needed.
- Qualifications such as a CACHE Level 2/3 with education / childcare.
- A warm, caring, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
- Strong understanding of child development.
