This Ofsted Outstanding-rated school provides high-quality education and care for its students. The Learning Support Assistant role is initially temporary with the potential to become permanent, offering excellent prospects for growth, development, and ongoing training and support.
In this rewarding role, the Learning Support Assistant will support the class teacher across all subjects, contribute to creative lesson planning, and work closely on a 1:1 basis with a child with Autism. Building a strong rapport and keeping the student engaged will be key to helping him improve social skills and overcome learning barriers.
The ideal Learning Support Assistant must:
Have the right to work in the UK
Hold a clear DBS registered on the update service, or be willing to complete a new DBS (49.50)
Have previous experience supporting children with Autism and/or Emotional Behavioural Difficulties
Be committed, reliable, and available 5 days a week, from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
Be passionate about working with children with Special Educational Needs
