Horizon Teachers are working with an Ofsted ratedOutstanding' Primary school based in Lewisham, supporting in their search for an experienced and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join them from May.

This school requires someone with experience supporting children with challenging and complex behaviour and needs someone who is resilient, patient and adaptable.

What do the school require from you?
  • Experience supporting children with high level SEND, including autism, challenging behaviour.
  • Experience caring for children with mental disorders is desired, but not essential.
  • Confidence in your ability to remain calm under pressure and use your initiative.
  • Show patience, empathy, and a proactive mindset to any situation.
  • Have knowledge of relevant safeguarding policies and procedures.
