Rikama Education is working in partnership with a forward-thinking and inclusive school in Greenwich, currently seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to start in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a passionate team dedicated to supporting pupils with diverse needs in a safe and nurturing environment.

About the Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with the Class Teacher and Senior Teaching Assistant, playing an essential role in supporting both the academic and personal development of pupils. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing tailored support to pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis

  • Assisting with personal and intimate care as needed

  • Managing and supporting pupils with challenging behaviour

  • Actively participating in physical activities such as PE and swimming

  • Promoting an inclusive and stimulating learning environment
