Daily Rate: 90-110 per day
About the Role
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their Year 3/4 team from 3rd November. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for supporting children's learning, confidence, and wellbeing within a friendly and supportive school community.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide targeted support for pupils in lower Key Stage 2, helping to raise attainment and ensure every child reaches their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Support pupils across Year 3 and Year 4 with their learning and development.
Provide one-to-one and small group intervention sessions.
Help maintain an engaging, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Support the class teacher in preparing learning materials and resources.
Encourage pupil confidence, focus, and participation.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant.
Understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective support strategies.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A patient, proactive, and caring approach to working with children.
