Daily Rate: 90-110 per day
About the Role
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their Year 5 team from 10th November. This is a fantastic opportunity to support upper Key Stage 2 pupils in a school that values creativity, teamwork, and pupil wellbeing.
The successful Learning Support Assistant will work closely with the class teacher to support learning across the curriculum, helping to raise attainment and ensure all pupils are fully engaged and achieving their best.
Key Responsibilities
Provide in-class support for pupils in Year 5, including one-to-one and small group work.
Assist in delivering lessons and adapting learning materials where needed.
Support children with their academic progress, social development, and confidence.
Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Collaborate with teachers and support staff to meet individual learning needs.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant.
Understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A patient, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to supporting children.
Commitment to promoting inclusion and high standards of learning.
