Contract: Full-time, long-term (Term time + inset days)
Daily Rate: 90-110 per day
About the Role
A friendly and inclusive primary school in Greenwich is seeking a motivated and dynamic Learning Support Assistant to join their team immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning, building confidence, and helping pupils succeed in an engaging and nurturing environment.
The successful Learning Support Assistant will work alongside class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils with additional learning needs, contribute to small group and one-to-one intervention work, and help create a positive atmosphere for learning.
Key Responsibilities
Provide in-class support for pupils with additional learning needs.
Lead small group or one-to-one interventions under direction of the class teacher.
Assist in preparing resources, adapting activities to meet individual needs.
Encourage pupils' confidence, independence and engagement in learning.
Collaborate with staff, contribute to tracking progress, and support inclusive practices.
Candidate Requirements
Experience as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant or similar role in a school setting.
Understanding of how to support pupils with additional learning needs.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A patient, proactive and caring approach to working with children.
Commitment to supporting inclusion and high standards of learning.
