SANZA Teaching Agency are seeking Learning Support Assistants for primary schools across the London Borough of Waltham Forest.
As a learning support assistant, you will:
- Work closely with primary aged students who have additional learning needs
- Provide dedicated support in class, helping students access learning materials
- Collaborate with teachers to adapt lesson materials and ensure they are accessible for the student
- Encourage social interaction
- Work closely with the school's inclusion team to implement individual strategies for the student's development
- Work with small groups of students delivering targeted interventions
- Work 1:1 with students as required
About you:
- Experienced SEN teaching assistant/ learning support assistant
- Understanding of Autism
- Strong behaviour management
- Professional manor
- Enthusiasm and friendly approach
- To be fun and creative
