Academics is seeking a motivated, caring, and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm, supportive two-form entry primary school in Tower Hamlets, starting January 2025. Position Details

  • Location: Tower Hamlets

  • Start Date: January 2025

  • Contract: Full-time, Monday-Friday

  • Salary: 95-105 per day



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across EYFS, KS1, and KS2

  • Deliver effective 1:1 and small-group interventions to help pupils access learning and make progress

  • Work alongside class teachers, the SENCO, and external specialists to deliver high-quality, consistent support

  • Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour using nurturing, child-centred approaches

This role is ideal for experienced Learning Support Assistants, psychology or education graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs. You'll be joining a school known for its exceptional staff culture, strong leadership, and dedication to helping every child flourish-academically, socially, and emotionally.

Interviews and trial days will take place during the 2nd week of December.
