A Learning Support Assistant is needed in a Coeducational Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.
This will be a full time long term Learning Support Assistant position, with scope to go permanent.
Working days and hours for this Learning Support Assistant post will be Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.
Responsibilities for this Learning Support Assistant role will include but not be limited to:
- Supporting SEN and LAP students on a 1:1 basis
- Working with the teachers to ensure students learning needs are met according to the targets on their EHCPs
- Attending to students' social, emotional and personal needs when required
- Supporting behaviour management and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policy
- Undertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when needed
The rates of pay for this Learning Support Assistant position will be between 82.14 to 100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

An 'Outstanding' Mixed Academy School & Sixth Form for pupils aged 11 to 19 years old, located in the London Borough of Wandsworth.
A heavily subscribed school with a percentage of pupils applying to Russell Group universities.
The proportion of pupils achieving this at the end of Year 11 is well above the national average.
Extra-curricular activities also play a large part of the school's life, including music and sports events, as well as museum trips.
In terms of academic achievements, the school produces results that placed it within the top 1% nationally for the fifth year running.
Requirements
Applications are welcome if you're a Graduate or experienced Learning Support Assistant.
You're also welcome to apply if you're a British trained Learning Support Assistant or overseas trained Learning Support Assistant.
All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as a Learning Support Assistant:
- Right to work in the UK
- Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
- UK Bachelor's Degree or overseas equivalent
- Experience of working with children/teenagers or as a Learning Support Assistant in UK schools
