The role centres on providing both academic and social-emotional support to children with SEN. Main Duties:
- Work alongside the classroom teacher to support daily activities and maintain a structured learning environment.
- Deliver tailored assistance to pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- Implement behaviour support strategies and contribute to positive classroom management.
- Ensure the well-being and progress of children who require extra help, both educationally and emotionally.
- Contribute to a supportive and inclusive atmosphere as a valued Learning Support Assistant.
Candidate Requirements:
- A degree in Psychology or a closely related discipline.
- Proven experience working with children who have Special Educational Needs.
- Confident behaviour management and the ability to adapt to different learning needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff while also working independently.
