Apricus Resourcing are currently are currently supporting a hirer looking to recruit a Mental Health Recovery Worker for leading Recovery Service Community Interest Project. 

This is based in W3 post code area of Shepherd's Bush, Acton Ealing.

The role is working full time with Hours: Monday to Thursday 9am to 5:30pm and for Friday 9am – 4:30pm.

The team supports homeless Men and Women with their mental health needs. You will work with a service user group who have a real motivation to make positive changes to their lives and your experience, compassion and focus on recovery will help them to get there.

Your interest, enthusiasm and commitment are more important.

You will work within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team and we will work with you to develop your skills and abilities, the hirer know that an investment in you, is an investment in the clients.

Some key elements of the role will include:

  • Work with the multi-disciplinary team to support homeless Men and Women on a day-to-day basis with their health and wellbeing and maintain a recovery focus.

  • Supporting other staff to maintain a safe environment with conflict resolution/de-escalation as needed. 

  • Creating a safe positive therapeutic environment where the service users can feel empowered.
