- Support pupils with PMLD in accessing the curriculum and achieving their learning goals
- Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions tailored to individual needs
- Assist the class teacher in implementing EHCP targets and differentiated activities
- Provide personal care and mobility support where required
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Liaise with SENCO and other professionals to support pupil progress
- Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently
- Proven experience supporting children with PMLD in school settings
- Understanding of a range of complex needs and strategies to support them
- Comfortable with personal care and physical support responsibilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills as a SEND Learning Support Assistant
- Ability to work flexibly across different age groups and learning needs
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- A proactive, patient and compassionate approach to supporting pupils
