Senior Parent Support Advisor

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to join a dynamic Parent Support Service team. This role focuses on providing tailored support to families, improving outcomes in education, behaviour, and relationships.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry a caseload of complex family support cases using a whole-family approach

* Complete detailed assessments using Early Help frameworks and tools

* Act as Lead Professional coordinating multi-agency support plans

* Deliver accredited evidence-based parenting programmes

* Work flexibly including some early mornings, evenings and weekends

* Support families below the threshold for specialist intervention

* Attend case conferences and contribute to safeguarding processes

* Maintain accurate case records using IT systems

* Participate in duty rota, providing advice and triaging referrals

* Use solution-focused methods to promote positive change

Essential Skills & Experience

* Minimum 2 years' direct experience working with children, young people, and families

* Experience working with complex and multi-agency family needs

* Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills

* Confident in leading TAF meetings and coordinating professionals

* Skilled in completing holistic assessments and action plans

* Proficient in using Microsoft Office and case management systems

Desirable

* Experience leading multi-agency meetings and complex reviews

* Training to deliver accredited parenting programmes
