We are a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Shepherd's Bush looking to appoint a compassionate and experienced 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child with Autism in our Reception class from September 2025.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of Autism and a commitment to early years education. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping the child access the curriculum, develop communication and social skills, and feel safe and supported throughout the school day.



We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience working with children with Autism, ideally in an early years or primary setting

  • Understands the importance of structure, routine, and clear communication

  • Is warm, patient, and consistent in their approach

  • Can work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to follow support plans

  • Has a good understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practices
