The AICS Group specialises in providing community-based rehabilitation and support to clients who have been diagnosed with an acquired or Traumatic Brain Injury.

AICS Group are seeking Female Rehabilitation Support Worker who is able to work with a male  client in North West London. You will be working in busy, varied environment with intensive involvement from a clinical team. Support will need to be available fortnightly to attend education team meetings with the therapists.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our ,male client has been in a road traffic incident He is diagnosed with severe global cognitive impairment and poor insight about his present difficulties. His orientation, attention, memory and executive functions have been highly affected by his  brain injury.

We are looking for a Female Rehabilitation Support Worker who can work:

  • Monday to Friday -11:00 am to 05:00 pm

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential Skills:

  • Support Worker needs a minimum of 1 year’s experience in health and social care
  • Basic understanding of developmental delay and cognitive impairment 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Support Worker needs good IT skills
  • Ability to work in the client’s home
  • Ability to liaise with healthcare professionals
  • Support Worker needs a willingness to learn and ability to take on feedback

Desirable Skills:

  • Current and clean driving licence, desirable but not essential
  • Experience in providing care to people living within the community.
