Qualified Social Worker - £42ph - Young Person Services

NonStop Care have an exciting opportunity for an experienced social worker to join a well established local authority, located in the South East of England, who have a locum position on their Young Persons Service!

This team is offering a hybrid way of working, meaning you spend less time in the office & more in the comfort of your own home, allowing you to achieve a far greater work-life balance.

This team is taking a new approach to Social Work, capping caseloads at 10, allowing you to prioritise & spend extra time building relationships with those under your care, allowing you to ensure the best possible outcome for children and young people in need, increasing work satisfaction.

The Role:

  • Carrying out needs assessments reviews for young people.
  • Organising Family support & support for children with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Working with Child Protection, LAC, Edge of Care & MET.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Social Work & registered with Social Work England.
  • An up to date DBS check.
  • Three years experience working with young people, safeguarding children, end of care or looked after children.
