About the Role
In the Safeguarding Team, you'll play a crucial role in protecting adults at risk. Your responsibilities will include:
Triaging all adult safeguarding concerns received by the council
Conducting safeguarding enquiries under Section 42 of the Care Act 2014
Managing Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) cases
Providing strategic and operational advice on safeguarding matters
Collaborating with partner agencies to ensure a coordinated response
About You
We're seeking Social Workers who:
Have in-depth knowledge of safeguarding legislation and procedures
Are experienced in conducting complex safeguarding enquiries
Can provide expert advice and support to colleagues and partners
Are committed to promoting the safety and wellbeing of adults at risk
