Job Title:Housing Liaison Officer
Location: East London, London Borough Council
Contract Details: Temporary, Hybrid
Salary: £21.23 - £27 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Engage with residents to address housing inquiries and provide expert advice on fire safety and compliance.
- Coordinate resident meetings and facilitate multi-agency collaborations.
- Conduct property inspections to identify and resolve fire safety hazards.
- Support vulnerable residents in sustaining tenancies and addressing tenancy breaches.
- Manage and investigate breaches of lease and tenancy agreements.
- Represent the organisation at Court or Tribunals when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and utilise IT systems for monitoring and reporting.
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Understanding of multi-tenure housing management.
- Specialist knowledge in areas such as Fire Safety, Housing Compliance, or Resident Engagement.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Experience in a resident services environment, focusing on compliance and resident satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising workloads effectively.
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Experience in tenancy sustainment and engagement strategies.
- Familiarity with key housing legislation and best practises.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Experience in delivering value for money in service provision.
- Experience using Northgate system
Technologies:
- Proficient in various IT systems for record keeping and reporting.
