- Contacting residents in temporary accommodation to discuss private housing options.
- Collecting resident information, including income and medical evidence.
- Securing privately rented accommodation by negotiating with landlords and agents. Procuring accommodation within and outside of London.
- Ensuring accommodation meets suitability standards for formal offers (S198).
- Preparing cases for the discharge of Main Duty. Key Skills Required: Excellent communication and spreadsheet skills.
- Experience negotiating with landlords, agents, and residents. Experience procuring properties for homeless residents. Confidence in discussing housing challenges with residents.
- This role requires a minimum of 2 days per week based at the Hackney Service Centre, with potential offsite visits and presentations.
