We are seeking an experienced Housing and Support Coordinator to lead a team delivering high-quality housing management and resident support services.
Job Title: Housing and Support CoordinatorLocation: WalthamstowHours: 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Line-manage and support a team of Housing and Support Officers and Assistants
- Coordinate resident referrals, intakes, and inductions while minimising voids and maximising occupancy
- Manage high-risk residents using a person-centred, psychologically informed approach
- Ensure rent collection, housing compliance, and address anti-social behaviour
- Oversee support planning and safeguard resident welfare
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create effective move-on pathways
Requirements:
- Experience supervising or leading teams in a supported housing or social care environment
- Strong understanding of housing management, safeguarding, and tenancy/licence compliance
- Proven ability to manage caseloads of vulnerable individuals with complex needs
- Knowledge of rent management, void reduction strategies, and support planning
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to work shifts, including weekends
