Trainee Supported Housing Officer

Southwark, Lewisham & Greenwich (on-site across multiple supported living schemes, Monday to Friday)

Hyde is looking for a trainee Supported Housing Officer to join our collaborative and values-driven team. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a supportive environment that champions employee wellbeing, continuous learning, and long-term development.

As a Supported Housing Officer at Hyde, you will oversee and maintain housing services for customers who require additional support to live independently. You will work closely with care and support providers to ensure safe, comfortable and suitable living environments, promoting customer wellbeing and independence across our supported living schemes.

Key Duties

  • Carry out regular property inspections, health and safety checks and fire safety compliance activities, ensuring timely follow-up on all actions.
  • Provide tenancy management, including viewings, sign-ups, inductions, ASB case handling, and referrals where appropriate.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers on communal services, repairs, maintenance and grounds/cleaning contracts.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with support providers, contractors, and community stakeholders to achieve effective partnership outcomes.
  • Lead on resident engagement, including wellbeing activities, social events and promoting Hyde’s digital agenda.
