Attendance Officer

Attendance Officer - Tower Hamlets - ASAP Start
Full Time | 18-22 per hour (depending on experience)

We're looking for an experienced Attendance Officer to join a school in Tower Hamlets. This is a key role in supporting students, families, and staff to ensure excellent attendance and safeguarding standards across the school.

What we're looking for:

• Experience working as an Attendance Officer (or similar school-based role)

• Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) training or experience - essential

• Confident using Arbor MIS system

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Ability to build positive relationships with parents, pupils, and external agencies

Attendance Officer Day-to-day duties include:

• Monitoring and following up on attendance and punctuality

• Producing and analysing reports from Arbor

• Carrying out home visits where needed

• Working with the safeguarding team as a DSL/deputy DSL

• Promoting a culture of good attendance across the school

Attendance Officer - Details:

• Full-time position (term time)

• Pay: 18-22 per hour, depending on experience
