The Role: You will join a well-established Children with Disabilities Team, providing high-quality statutory social work to children and young people with complex disabilities and their families. This includes child protection, safeguarding, assessments, and care planning in accordance with legislative frameworks and best practice. Key Responsibilities: Manage a varied caseload of CWD cases, including CIN, CP, and CLA Complete robust statutory assessments and develop tailored support plans Work collaboratively with families, schools, and multi-agency professionals Uphold and champion the rights of disabled children and young people Ensure timely and outcome-focused interventions that promote stability and resilience About You: Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England (SWE) Substantial experience in a Children with Disabilities team Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989, SEND Code of Practice, and safeguarding frameworks Excellent written and verbal communication skills Commitment to strengths-based, child-centred practice Why Join This Borough?
