Qualified Social Worker - Adults West Locality Team
London Borough of Camden are looking to expand their current team with a dedicated Social Worker looking for an opportunity to join a well-structured and organised team. This Adults Locality role will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.
Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out initial safeguarding enquiries and s42 enquiries
- Providing advice to the public, partner agencies and regulated care providers in relation to safeguarding concerns
- Completing home visits and safeguarding assessments and reports
- Liaising with other professionals
- Knowledge of relevant legislation
- Holding cases
- Working with people at risk, and people who have caused harm.
- Attending multidisciplinary meetings
- Completing referrals to relevant agencies for support
Experience preferred:
- Post qualifying experience of working within an Adults Locality Team or Safeguarding Team.
The Team:
- Well-structured organised team, growing their social worker staffing levels.
Minimum Requirements:
- HCPC Registration
- 3 year post qualifying experience within UK Social Care industry
- Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
