About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our client a rapidly growing childrens service provider.

This is an opportunity to work with a forward-thinking organisation that is committed to safeguarding and improving outcomes for children, young people, and families.

You’ll play a key role in providing high-quality assessments, support plans, and interventions to ensure the best possible outcomes — working collaboratively with multi-agency partners and using a child-centred approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload within statutory children’s services.
  • Undertake assessments, care planning, and direct work with children and families.
  • Work in partnership with schools, health professionals, and external agencies.
  • Ensure safeguarding principles are upheld in all casework.
  • Participate in supervision, reflective practice, and ongoing professional development.
  • Maintain accurate, timely records and reports in line with HCPC standards.

Requirements

  • Qualified Social Worker (Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
  • HCPC / Social Work England registration (essential).
  • Experience within Children’s Services, ideally in safeguarding, LAC, or child protection.
  • Strong understanding of the Children Act 1989 and related legislation.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
