Senior Social Worker - Child Protection

Rate: 39.04 per hour

Hackney Council is seeking an experienced and passionate Social Worker to join our Child Protection Team.

This is an opportunity to work in one of London?s most vibrant and diverse boroughs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Children in Need and Child Protection cases
  • Undertake Court work, allocated based on your experience
  • Contribute to trauma-informed, systemic practice
  • Engage in regular supervision (individual and group)

About You:

  • Qualified Social Worker
  • SWE Registered
  • 3 Years Perm Experience (DFE)
  • Experience in Children in Need, Child Protection, and Court work
  • Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a hybrid team model
