An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Children in Need team in Islington. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role where you'll be at the heart of impactful, relationship-based practice, working directly with children and families to promote safety, stability, and positive change.
Key responsibilities:

Holding a manageable caseload of complex CIN and CP cases

Leading robust assessments, developing outcome-focused plans, and driving timely interventions

Supporting less experienced colleagues and contributing to a learning culture

Engaging confidently with children, families, and professionals to build trust and effective support networks

Ensuring all practice is in line with statutory requirements and best practice frameworks
What we're looking for:

SWE-registered Social Worker with strong frontline experience

Solid understanding of the Children Act 1989/2004 and safeguarding frameworks

Confidence in managing risk and using professional judgement

A commitment to child-centred, strengths-based practice
