Senior Service Designer

23 month FTC

Location: Central London, hybrid and flexible. Please note this is not a fully remote position

Join a UK government-funded, independent body that provides free legal advice to leaseholders in England and Wales. As part of an exciting digital transformation, we're looking for a hands-on Senior Service Designer to lead the design and improvement of services across digital, phone, and email channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end services across digital and non-digital touch points
  • Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes
  • Plan and conduct user research
  • Align service and UX design with business strategy, including AI and automation integration
  • Translate complex stakeholder needs into practical service improvements

What We're Looking For

  • Experience designing public-facing, multi-channel services
  • Familiarity with GDS service design principles or similar frameworks
  • Strong grasp of user-centered and inclusive design practices
  • A portfolio demonstrating research, prototyping, and delivery
  • Any frontend development experience is a bonus
  • Experience in working in a small - mid size company
