- Manage a varied and complex caseload, undertaking Care Act assessments and reviews.
- Apply legislation including the Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act 1983, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Human Rights Act 1998, Equalities Act 2010, and GDPR 2018.
- Support individuals and carers during times of crisis.
- Work in an outcome-focused way, advocating for non-discriminatory practice and equality of access.
- Maintain professional knowledge of research, policy, and best practice.
- Develop and maintain strong links with professionals across services and the community.
- Contribute to the smooth running and development of the team.
- Hold a recognised Social Work qualification and be registered with Social Work England.
- Have statutory social work experience in adult services, ideally within learning disabilities.
- Demonstrate excellent assessment, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Show a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Experience as a Practice Educator or DoLS Assessor.
