Job Summary:

Join our Child Protection team in South West London! This role offers a manageable caseload (10-15 families), supported by the Family Safeguarding Model, which reduces caseloads each week. Work with children and families in need, ensuring their safety and well-being while receiving ongoing support for your professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment & Intervention: Undertake assessments of children and families to ensure safety and implement effective plans.

  • Case Management: Manage a caseload, with regular reductions to ensure focus on quality practice.

  • Court Work & Collaboration: Support court proceedings and collaborate with multi-agency teams to safeguard children.

  • Family Safeguarding Model: Work within a framework designed to reduce caseloads and support manageable workloads.

Key Requirements:
  • Qualification: Social Work degree and registered with Social Work England.

  • Experience: Prior experience in child protection, including court work and safeguarding.

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of child protection laws and frameworks.
