Salary: £56,436 – £59,574 (dependent on experience)

Pro Social Partners are proud to be working in partnership with Lambeth Council to recruit an experienced Team Manager to lead their Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team within Children’s Social Care.

The Role
As Team Manager within the Children with Disabilities Team, you will:
Provide operational leadership and day-to-day management of a multidisciplinary team of Social Workers and practitioners.
Ensure high-quality statutory practice across assessments, care planning, safeguarding, and short breaks support.
Offer clear management oversight and decision-making on complex cases involving children with disabilities and additional needs.
Promote inclusive, strengths-based, and person-centred practice across the service.
Chair and contribute to complex meetings, including strategy discussions and multi-agency planning forums.
Drive performance management, quality assurance, and continuous improvement within the team.
Support staff through regular reflective supervision, performance reviews, and professional development.
Work closely with health, education, and commissioning partners to deliver coordinated support for children and families.
About You
You will be an experienced and values-driven leader with:
A recognised Social Work qualification and current Social Work England registration.
Significant post-qualifying experience within Children’s Social Care, ideally including Children with Disabilities or complex needs services.
Proven experience of managing and developing social work teams.
Strong knowledge of statutory frameworks relating to disability, safeguarding, and child protection.
Confidence in multi-agency working across health, education, and social care.
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
