This role includes working with young people with SEN/SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis, as well as supporting pupils and class teachers within the classroom.

Unqualified Mental Health Assistant - SEMH Needs Job Description
- Working in a highly regarded Secondary School in Waltham Forest
- Providing support to children with SEN/SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Assisting class teachers with delivering core subject material
- 105 - 115 per day
- Monday - Friday only
- Long-Term, Full-Time role
- ASAP start
The Ideal Unqualified Mental Health Assistant - SEMH Needs
- A graduate with strong academics (2:1 or 1st Class degree)
- A passion for learning and working with young people
- A 'can-do' attitude
- Previous school-based experience
- A sufficient understanding of SEN/SEMH needs including ASD, ADHD, SpLD and more
