We are looking to recruit a Youth Justice Case Manager in the Youth Justice Team within Tower Hamlets. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels.

The responsibilities of the Youth Justice Case Manager includes:
- Excellent skills in engaging and developing positive trusting relationships with children and their families from diverse backgrounds
- The relationships built with children and their families are pivotal to all aspects of youth justice practice.
- As a Case Manager, you will be allocated children aged 10-17 years old who have received both community and custodial sentences from the Court.
- You will undertake high quality assessments and devise individualised intervention plans tailored to children's needs which have a positive impact upon children's desistance from offending, safety and protection of the public.
- You will have an unwavering commitment to delivering the best outcomes for Tower Hamlets & the City of London children.
- The Youth Justice Service is committed to 'child first' principles and approach for which collaboration with children, families and multi-agency partners is at the heart of everything we do.
- The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of approaches including trauma informed, restorative justice and relational approaches.
- The Youth Justice Service is a multi-disciplinary team consisting of partners including speech and language therapists, substance misuse practitioner, police, child & adolescent mental health clinician, education officer and therapeutic practitioners.

- Assett+ experience
- Eligibility to work in the UK
