- Manage a caseload of young people aged 10-17 subject to statutory Court orders or out-of-court disposals.
- Supervise interventions in line with National Standards, local policies, and relevant legislation.
- Write Pre-Sentence Reports, complete out-of-court assessments, and supervise custodial and community-based sentences.
- Use systemic and evidence-based approaches to work effectively with families and guardians.
- Collaborate with partner agencies and maintain strong multi-agency relationships in line with GDPR and information-sharing protocols.
- Operate within the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 and other relevant youth justice, criminal, and child care legislation.
- Qualified Social Worker, Probation Officer, or holder of a relevant professional qualification.
- Significant experience in youth justice, including working in Court settings.
- Strong understanding of youth justice legislation, safeguarding, and trauma-informed practice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in the preparation of reports.
- Ability to build positive relationships with young people and families, encouraging positive change.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
