Technical Architect

Location: London

Salary: 35-40,000

Our client, a respected RIBA-chartered studio located in London, is looking for a motivated and highly capable Technical Architect to become part of their dynamic team. With a strong focus on sustainable design across residential, commercial, and education projects, the practice is entering an exciting period of expansion supported by a robust portfolio of new work.

Requirements:

  • ARB-registered Architect
  • Extensive post-Part 3 experience within a UK architectural environment
  • Strong design sensibility paired with confident technical detailing skills
  • Thorough understanding of UK planning procedures, building regulations, and contemporary construction practices
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and ideally Revit
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
  • Capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively
  • Driven, professional, and proactive in approach

Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality architectural work across all RIBA stages
  • Engage with clients to develop creative, sustainable design solutions
  • Coordinate effectively with consultants and internal project teams
  • Contribute to technical detailing and the preparation of construction information
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members when needed
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on project planning and delivery strategies
