We're working with a rapidly scaling fintech company operating across 30+ international markets to recruit a DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in AWS and the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana). The organisation sits at the intersection of asset and wealth management and is transforming the way information is exchanged across the investment ecosystem.

Role Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced DevOps professional to join a collaborative engineering team focused on reliability, scalability, and automation. You'll be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and optimising Elasticsearch performance in a mission-critical environment.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience with AWS services, automation tools, and modern monitoring solutions, as well as a hands-on approach to system performance, cloud security, and infrastructure as code.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and optimise Elasticsearch environments hosted in Elastic Cloud

  • Design and implement efficient indexing and caching strategies for improved search performance

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable deployments

  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues across ELK stack and AWS infrastructure

  • Automate infrastructure tasks using scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash)

  • Implement best practices in system security, compliance, and resilience

  • Utilise AWS services including EC2, ECS, EMR, RDS, and Elasticsearch for infrastructure management

  • Ensure robust backup and disaster recovery planning

What We're Looking For:

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience with the ELK stack (Elastic Cloud, Logstash, Kibana)

  • Strong knowledge of AWS services and infrastructure (EC2, ECS, EMR, RDS, Elasticsearch)

  • AWS certifications (e.g. Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer)

  • Proven ability to build and manage CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)

  • Familiarity with system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting

  • Understanding of cloud security and compliance standards

  • Clear and concise documentation and communication skills

  • Independent problem-solver with a proactive mindset

  • Experience with disaster recovery strategies and implementations

Desirable:

  • Experience in the fintech or financial services domain

  • Familiarity with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools

  • Background in working with agile or cross-functional teams
