DevOps Engineer

Our client is a pioneering UK-based fintech company delivering cutting-edge FX and trading solutions to global clients. With a strong foundation in software engineering and a culture built on technical excellence, they are now entering an exciting phase of platform redevelopment - with DevOps playing a critical role in their journey.
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their Front Office team and help drive innovation across our low-latency, event-driven systems. You will work closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams to enhance our platform's reliability, scalability, and automation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the development and optimisation of our CI/CD pipeline using GitLab.
- Managing and maintaining Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments (Linux, Windows, macOS).
- Coaching and mentoring engineering teams on DevOps best practices and tooling.
- Improving system monitoring, incident detection, and resolution processes.
- Building custom tools or integrating third-party solutions to strengthen our DevOps infrastructure.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years’ experience as a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes and strong hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD.
- Proven ability to lead by example and support the upskilling of cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience working alongside JavaScript, Kotlin, or Java engineers is a plus.
