DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes Linux AWS) London / WFH to £70k

Are you a technologist DevOps Engineer with a deep knowledge of Kubernetes seeking an opportunity to take ownership and make an impact whilst working on a modern stack with continual learning and career progression opportunities?

You could be joining a highly successful FinTech whose award winning software enables customers to build high-performance web trading apps that deliver real-time information securely and reliably.

As a DevOps Engineer you will collaborate closely with engineering and infrastructure teams to improve developer efficiency, with a focus on implementing and enhancing the Gitlab build infrastructure utilising Containers and Kubernetes to provide a performant system with high levels of availability and observability. You'll be managing, structuring and building a roadmap around Kubernetes, Gitlab, Linux, Windows and Mac build agents on Gitlab, seeking to continuously improve the ability to detect, resolve and avoid future issues with the build environment.

You'll be collaborating closely with software engineers, pro-actively getting involved in technical discussions and decision making.

Location / WFH:

There's a hybrid work from home model with 1-2 days in the London, City based office per week.

About you:

  • You have a deep knowledge of Kubernetes, with experience of configuring, managing and deploying services to Kubernetes
  • You have strong experience with Docker container orchestration
  • You have hands-on experience with Gitlab, Ansible, Packer, Terraform
  • You have a strong knowledge of Linux, including command line
  • You have AWS experience
  • You have scripting / coding skills (JavaScript, Python, Java or other)
  • You're collaborative and pragmatic, able to push back
