Crone Corkill are assisting an international bank as they look to add an eFX Java Developer to the team on an initial 6 - 12 month contract. With your low latency Java development expertise, this hire will be vital in integrating FIX with FX Connect GlobalLink.

What skills do you need to be an eFX Java Developer?

  • Enterprise Java application
  • FX Connect GlobalLink (essential)
  • Building high performance APIs (FIX, REST)
  • Developing high performance e- trading systems

What will you do as an eFX Java Developer?

  • Build the integration layer between FIX pricing engine & FX Connect GlobalLink trading platform
  • Follow best practice in terms of architecture, configuration and capacity planning
  • Identify and implement improvements to application performance
  • Full testing of new versions of software (including Unit, Regression and SI)
  • Manage the technical relationship with the external electronic market technology teams and internal development and connectivity teams.
  • Understand and influence components in use at the bank, identify functionality that can be replicated and improved by in-house development.
